Terms of Service for BudgetEase

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BudgetEase (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

BudgetEase is an iOS and Android application that helps users create budgets, track expenses and income, set reminders, and review spending insights. BudgetEase does not connect to your bank and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If the law where you live requires a higher age to agree to these Terms, you must meet that age or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Data and Privacy

Your use of BudgetEase is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains local budgeting data, diagnostics, subscriptions, and service providers. Review it at https://budgetease.app/privacy-policy

5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

  • Premium subscriptions are sold through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to the applicable store's terms.
  • Prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, and renewal terms are shown by the store before you confirm a purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple or Google account before the renewal date.
  • We do not receive your full payment-card information. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under the applicable store's policies and local law.
  • Deleting the App or clearing local app data does not cancel an active subscription.

6. License and Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
  • Use the App for unlawful purposes.
  • Interfere with the App's operation or security.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. BudgetEase does not guarantee error-free operation or uninterrupted access.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BudgetEase and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Updates to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App or on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the new Terms.
